Service Description

Chair Yoga is wonderful for those who have mobility issues, those recovering from an injury, or even those just starting out with yoga. The poses and movements used in traditional, or mat, yoga are adapted to a chair. Though students will perform standing poses - as well as seated poses - during the class, students will not get down on the floor. This allows dynamic movement of the body without the stress of having to get up off of the floor. Chair Yoga can help strengthen and tone the body, improve flexibility, balance, coordination, and posture, as well as reduce pain and stress.

Cancellation Policy

Please understand that once you book an appointment, this time is set aside specifically for you. Of course things come up that cannot be foreseen, but if you must cancel, I do request that you please do so no later than 60 minutes prior to the start of class. Space in group classes is extremely limited and I'd like to have as much time as possible to allow someone else the opportunity to fill the cancelled spot. Thank you for understanding!
